: Under the significant changes in the global landscape, diverse collisions are inevitable. Whether or not traditional Chinese sports culture is correctly recognized concerns national decline, public sentiment, and national division. Therefore, it is particularly important to integrate multiple cultures under the same perspective and follow one's own path of sports culture. This paper takes the dragon boat racing ceremony as an example to analyze the value recognition of rural sports activities with a long history. It concludes that in the historical development of rural sports activities, ethnic cultural order has been highly compatible with these activities in both form and spirit, achieving coexistence in the same spatial domain and forming value recognition. In the new era, innovative measures taken under social changes can not only enhance people's cultural confidence and identity but also provide strong theoretical support for strengthening the sense of community among the Chinese nation.

Red culture is a solid support for cultural confidence and the source of power for the great rejuvenation. In the new era, giving full play to the leading role of red culture in the common rural prosperity can boost the all-round revitalization of rural. Taking YT Town of Y County as an example, the local people were surveyed through field visits and questionnaire survey; 295 questionnaires were distributed and 295 were actually recovered, based on the investigation method and literature method, understanding the development status of red culture in YT Town of Y County, proposing corresponding countermeasures to provide practical reference for the development of rural revitalization and realizing common prosperity in this region.
Based on the rural revitalization strategy, an in - depth study on the digital protection and communication of Wangjiang cross - stitch is carried out. The traditional folk handicraft art of Wangjiang cross - stitch is preserved and recorded by means of the new form of digital technology communication. The constructed digital communication platform will present the characteristics such as the centralization of literature materials, the visualization of information presentation, and the diversification of cultural activities. On the one hand, this study conforms to the characteristics of the current era, satisfies people's spiritual needs to a certain extent, and enhances cultural confidence; on the other hand, it also promotes the development of the local economy.
Abstract The communication of rural culture and sports not only carries the inheritance and development of local culture but is also an important manifestation of rural revitalization and cultural self-confidence. With reference to the communication characteristics of information related to rural culture and sports, this paper combines traditional and new media to design a multimedia communication model for rural culture and sports. A three-stage DEA model, including the SFA model, is used to measure the development efficiency of the rural culture and sports industry under the multimedia communication model. It is found that after the implementation of the multivariate communication model of integrated media, the audience of rural culture and sports in Z city shows an increasing trend, and the social support efficiency index of rural culture and sports industry reaches 0.9770, which achieves a considerable communication effect. At the same time, the total output and added value of the industry in the field of rural culture and sports also increased rapidly, and its output value accounted for 43.64% of the total sports industry in 2023. The multifaceted communication model of integrated media designed in this paper is conducive to revitalizing the development of industries in the field of rural culture and sports, promoting the sharing of national culture as well as building a new era of rural economy.
Japan’s ongoing socio-spatial transformation has led to the decline of rural cultures and traditional rural landscapes (TRLs), necessitating alternative approaches to revitalize rural communities. Reinforcing inter-regional urban–rural connections could offer a path to rural revitalization and sustainable regional resilience. This study investigated such perspectives through a large-scale survey (n = 1704) and statistically analyzed the perceptual differences of residents across residential contexts regarding their cultural knowledge, daily practices, consumption preferences, and landscape recognition, represented by traditional tea culture in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan. Results demonstrated significant residential-context-based differences. Although rural residents showed the deepest understanding and recognition of tea culture and landscapes, they failed to express such perceptual knowledge with confidence. By contrast, suburban residents presented moderate familiarity without deep understanding. Urban residents relied greatly on symbolic representations of rural culture and landscapes, but without distinct recognition. Although all groups showed high levels of interest in tea culture, they generally presented a lack of deep understanding regarding Zairai tea fields, a representative TRL in the region, indicating both its physical decline due to agricultural modernization and its diminishing cultural visibility. Overall, the findings of this study highlight the differentiated perceptions shaped by different residential contexts. By clarifying both perceptual commonalities and divergences that exist among these residential groups, this study provides a new perspective on reconstructing culturally rooted urban–rural connections to contribute to the revitalization of rural communities, culture, and the conservation of TRLs in the region.
: In the era of new media, the research value of “three rural micro-videos” are not limited to its text, but also the possibilities created and social changes brought about when it is used as a “new agricultural tool”. Starting from the key difficulties in the rural revitalization strategy, such as bridging the “digital gap” between urban and rural areas, improving the digital literacy of villagers, and promoting the revitalization of rural culture and industry, the article analyzes the redistribution of urban and rural discourse power in the production and dissemination of short videos in rural areas, the bridging role of urban and rural memory and culture, and the internal logic of farmers' identity and cultural self-confidence empowering rural revitalization. Furthermore, the article also reveals the external value of rural revitalization empowered by “three rural micro-videos” from the aspects of short videos to help rural talents revitalize, promote rural economic development and industrial integration, and build a new pattern of rural cultural industry. Finally, from the perspective of text production, economic development and social governance, the sustainable development path of short videos is explored.

In the context of rural revitalization strategy, on March 27, 2023, the finals of the first “Beautiful Countryside” basketball League in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province (hereinafter referred to as “Cun BA”) caught the ride of new media and shared the “Big data dividend”, which quickly became popular on the Internet. As a sports activity with local characteristics, “Cun BA” is of great significance for promoting the revitalization of rural culture, promoting the development of rural economy, promoting the harmony of rural society, promoting the development of rural sports undertakings and improving the cultural self-confidence and sense of identity of villagers. This paper is committed to starting from the current situation of the development of “Cun BA”, analyzing the feasibility of “Cun BA” assisting the development of rural revitalization in Taijiang County, and on this basis, putting forward suggestions and countermeasures for “Cun BA” empowering rural revitalization and development, in order to provide a new sample for reference for the rural revitalization strategy of rural cultural inheritance and development, and contribute to the construction of a powerful sports country and a modern country.
Chinese culture represents the rich tapestry of various ethnic traditions. The development of these diverse cultures is essential for the overall prosperity of Chinese civilization. Therefore, promoting the innovative advancement of the Zhuang ethnic group's traditional culture can bolster their cultural confidence, preserve the diversity of Chinese culture, strengthen national identity, foster ethnic unity and progress, enrich spiritual and cultural life, and support rural community development. In today's rapidly evolving integrated media landscape, driven by information technology, the innovative development of the Zhuang's traditional culture encounters significant opportunities. In this study, we first explored the value foundation of innovative development of excellent traditional culture of the Zhuang ethnic group in the era of integrated media. Then, we analyzed the promoting effect of integrated media technology on the innovative development of excellent traditional culture of the Zhuang ethnic group in the new media ecological environment. Finally, we summarized how to fully utilize new technological means, create an integrated media matrix, and leverage resource integration advantages to achieve innovative development of excellent traditional culture of the Zhuang ethnic group. The research results are conducive to deeply exploring the contemporary value of excellent traditional culture of the Zhuang ethnic group and activating its cultural vitality, continuously promoting the creative transformation and innovative development of excellent traditional culture in China, thereby promoting the prosperity and development of cultural undertakings and cultural industries.
Background: The report of the 20th CPC National Congress emphasizes that Chinese-style modernization entails the harmonious development of material and spiritual civilization, with the rural masses' spiritual and cultural well-being serving as a crucial indicator for rural revitalization and broader economic and social progress. In this context, "VBA", "village super" and other rural sports events are popular throughout the Internet, enriching people's spiritual and cultural life, injecting new vitality and vitality into the cause of national fitness, and contributing new ideas to rural revitalization and ethnic integration development. Guizhou village Super League refers to the Rongjiang (Sanbao Dong Village) and the United States Rural Football Super League in Qiandongnan, Guizhou Province. This competition will start on May 13, 2023, and finish on July 29 of the same year. After that, a series of football matches will be held regularly in the host place of the United States Rural Football Super League, also known as Guizhou village Super League by the masses. Method: This paper used Grounded Theory to encode text data related to Guizhou village Super League, and constructed a theoretical model of media images of Guizhou village Super League. The research data came from the news text reports, news video texts, journal articles, and interview texts of 7 people, including staff of local functional departments in Rongjiang. Result: The findings revealed that the media image of the Guizhou Village Super League is characterized by its vibrant atmosphere, pure sporting competition, inclusive celebration involving all members of society, and fusion with local customs. The ethnic diversity and cultural richness exhibited in this competition are identified as key drivers shaping its media representation. Conclusion: Based on these findings, suggestions for advancing rural sports events in China included: 1) integrating superior resources to establish distinctive stadiums; 2) preserving local characteristics while organizing authentic competitions; 3) promoting coordinated governance among functional departments to safeguard people's autonomy; 4) transforming such events into platforms for cultural exchange aimed at bolstering confidence in Chinese culture.
