Will AI polishing change my meaning?
It lists suggestions first and edits only after you choose items; unselected paragraphs stay as they are. Core claims, proper nouns, data and the direction of conclusions are kept, and a suggestion that conflicts with facts in the original is skipped.
Will the AI detection rate go up after polishing?
A full rewrite replaces whole passages with the model's wording, which tends to raise detection rates. Here only the sentences you pick change and the rest stays original. Polishing does not target detection rates and makes no promise about results; to lower the rate, use the AI-trace reduction tool and rely on the detector your school or journal specifies.
Can it polish English papers and SCI submissions?
Yes. Choose English as the output language and both suggestions and edits are in English; a Chinese draft can also be polished into English. Name the target journal in the chat to calibrate to Nature, Nature Communications or Nature Machine Intelligence style.
Can it polish Chinese papers and theses?
Yes, choose Chinese as the output language. For a master's or doctoral thesis, turn on "Thesis polishing" in the skill market, which checks wording, sentences, punctuation and chapter structure against 60+ rules.
How is this different from ChatGPT or DeepSeek with a polishing prompt?
A general AI chat usually returns a full rewrite, fixing one spot while losing another. This tool has built-in academic writing skills that know the structure your document type needs, and it searches and draws on 300 million academic papers. Polishing happens in a workspace where you keep working on the same document: every edit can be confirmed, partly accepted or followed up with more feedback, one change at a time.
Will it change my references and citations?
It does not add citations that are not in the original. When sentences are moved or rewritten, markers such as [1] or (Smith et al., 2020) stay as they are and are not renumbered.
How long can a document be? Is Word supported?
Up to 80,000 characters per run. Upload a .docx, .txt or .md file up to 10 MB, or paste the text. Each round gives at most 8 suggestions, so long documents can be polished chapter by chapter in the same workspace.
How much does it cost?
