How to Use Acadwrite for a Literature Review

1. Choose a Writing Mode
Choose ‘By Topic’ when you only have a research topic, ‘By Framework’ when you already have a chapter structure, or ‘By Argument’ when you already know your central claims.
2. Enter the Topic
Describe the research population, main question, and scope in one sentence. Then select the search sources, literature language, and output language.
3. Confirm the Search Queries
Check that each query includes the research population, method, and outcome measures. Remove off-topic terms and add common synonyms from the field.
4. Confirm the Literature
Screen papers by title, abstract, year, and source. Include only verifiable records that directly address the research question.
5. Confirm the Outline
Make sure each section answers a clear question. Merge duplicate sections and assign every included paper to the appropriate section.
6. Generate and Export
Generate the draft section by section. Check that every claim matches its citation, then export the revised document to Word together with its references.
